Year 6 Residential-Patterdale Hall, Lake District
Monday 24th March to Wednesday 26th March 2025.
We are delighted to announce that we have been successful in booking the facilities at Patterdale Hall in the North Lakes for our Year 6 residential visit for March 2025.
Patterdale Hall is a wonderful stately home, set in its own extensive grounds, based between the fells of the Lake District and next to Lake Ullswater. The new residential site offers us an extremely varied outdoor activity programme, fantastic food and accommodation.

If you wish to book a place on the Year 6 Residential Visit, please complete the slip on the letter below and return to it the school office with a deposit of £25 (non-refundable) before Friday 22nd November.

Year 3 - Whitescar Caves - 4th December 2024
Year 3 will be visiting White Scar Caves on Wednesday 4th December 2024.
White Scar Cave enjoys a magnificent setting in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Young visitors are introduced to the science and wonder of the subterranean world. The cave walk covers one mile, ensuring that learning is combined with exercise! There are underground streams and waterfalls, flowstone, prehistoric mud pools, and the huge Battlefield Cavern adorned with thousands of stalactites. Pupils gain access to an extensive and significant underground system.
Year 6 - Manchester Imperial War Museum - 11th December 2024
As part of this terms’ topic covering World War I we will be visiting the Imperial War Museum in Manchester on Wednesday 11th December. Whilst we are at the museum the children will have the opportunity to take part in an interactive session. This session will investigate Remembrance and include personal stories from the First World War up to today.
The trip will take place during school time and children need to be in school at normal time. School uniform must be worn. We will be back after normal home time, approximately 4.00pm.
Upcoming Events
Tuesday 10th December at 2.00pm and Wednesday 11th December at 9.30am - Year 1 and Year 2 Nativity, including a Special Appearance from Reception Children, would like to invite you to watch their Nativity on Tuesday 10th December at 2.00pm and Wednesday 11th December at 9.30am, both performances will take place in school. All the children are working tremendously hard to ensure that this is a spectacular event.
Friday 20th December - School closes at 2pm for Christmas - School reopens on Monday 6th January 2025.
