Year 6 Residential-Patterdale Hall, Lake District
Monday 24th March to Wednesday 26th March 2025.
We are delighted to announce that we have been successful in booking the facilities at Patterdale Hall in the North Lakes for our Year 6 residential visit for March 2025.
Patterdale Hall is a wonderful stately home, set in its own extensive grounds, based between the fells of the Lake District and next to Lake Ullswater. The new residential site offers us an extremely varied outdoor activity programme, fantastic food and accommodation.

If you wish to book a place on the Year 6 Residential Visit, please complete the slip on the letter below and return to it the school office with a deposit of £25 (non-refundable) before Friday 22nd November.

Year 5 and 6 - The Children’s Bookshow, to be held at Blackpool Grand Theatre - Monday 18th November.
Year 5 and 6 are invited to attend The Children’s Bookshow, to be held at Blackpool Grand Theatre on Monday 18th November.
Michael Rosen will be hosting an author event at the Grand on Monday afternoon, children will also receive a copy of Michael’s latest book. Children will be walking to the theatre after lunch and will
return to school for home time.
We are asking for a donation of £5.00. This includes the event, along with a copy of their own book by Michael Rosen.
Year 3 - Whitescar Caves - 4th December 2024
Year 3 will be visiting White Scar Caves on Wednesday 4th December 2024.
White Scar Cave enjoys a magnificent setting in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Young visitors are introduced to the science and wonder of the subterranean world. The cave walk covers one mile, ensuring that learning is combined with exercise! There are underground streams and waterfalls, flowstone, prehistoric mud pools, and the huge Battlefield Cavern adorned with thousands of stalactites. Pupils gain access to an extensive and significant underground system.

Tuesday 19th November - School Photographer - The school photographer will be in school. They will be taking individual and sibling photographs for all classes.
Please can you ensure your child is wearing the correct uniform.
Tuesday 26th November - Nasal Flu Vaccine - If you have submitted your consent via the NHS website, your child will receive the nasal flu vaccine.
Friday 20th December - School closes at 2pm for Christmas - School reopens on Monday 6th January 2025.
