WHOLE SCHOOL SCIENCE WEEK@ST JOHN'S
A huge thank you to all of our parents and families who came into school this afternoon for science investigations and activities, we hope you enjoyed all of the scientific activities with your child!
All of the classes have enjoyed taking part in Science Week linked to the theme of 'Change and Adapt'.
There were lots of interesting scientific investigations happening in every classroom incuding:
-Making shadow puppets
-Planting an 'eco-friendly' sunflower
-Bird beak adaptations
-Making gliders and finding ways for the gliders to fly a further distance
-What will flush... (Disgusting results!)
-Investigating magnetic coins
-Habitats and Life Cycles
-Dissolving
We look forward to inviting our parents and families into school again soon to take part in your child's learning.
Thank you.
Miss Johnston
