National Poetry Day@St John's

Class 1-Class 6 enjoyed taking part in 'National Poetry Day' on Thursday 6th October.

All of the classes had to choose a poem and rehearse their lines and actions before performing to the rest of the school in the

'Performance Poetry Competition'.

Well done to all of the classes for their poetry performances. The judges (Mrs Galloway and Miss Johnston) had a very difficult decision to choose the eventual winners!

Both classes have been awarded special poetry books for the book area in their classroom.
