Year 6 Parents and Families
We are delighted to inform you about an excellent opportunity to support your child as they prepare
for the transition to high school. The Family Hub team are running the Triple P Fear-Less Workshop, a fantastic, free programme
designed to help parents and carers support their child, in preventing anxiety and building resilience as they approach high school.
Moving to high school can be a very nerve-wracking time for children. This workshop is designed toequip you with the tools and skills needed to help your child navigate this big change with confidence. The friendly and relaxed one-day session will cover a range of strategies to help you support your Year 6 child in overcoming any anxieties they may have.
The workshop will run for one full day, from 8.45am to 3.15pm, on Friday 15th May 8:45am -3:15pm
at the Health and Social Care Career Academy (under Bickerstaffe house).
We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this wonderful, free opportunity. The skills you gain will be invaluable in supporting your child during this important milestone.
If you would like further information please ask at the school office.
