As part of this term’s topic on ‘Vikings’, Class 5 will be visiting York tomorrow (Friday 21st June) to take part in a Viking experience.
During the course of the day they will ‘live’ as a Viking to experience daily life in a Viking village at Murton Park.
Children must be in school by 7:30am as the coach will be leaving promptly at 7:45am, we will return at approximately 5.00pm.
The children are to wear their school uniform top half, and a pair of old trousers or tracksuit bottoms.
Children will need trainers or sturdy walking shoes along with a coat.
Packed lunches will be provided by the school kitchen for children entitled to free school meals, all other pupils will need to bring their own packed lunch, in a named plastic bag.
Could we ask that children bring an extra drink for the journey.
Any children suffering from travel sickness should be given medication before coming to school, any return journey tablets should be sent in a named envelope and handed to the teacher.
