2019 School’s Alive - Dance Festival

Monday 11th  February - Grand Theatre

 

As you may be aware Year 6 are taking part in the Blackpool School’s Alive festival on the evening of Monday 11th February. This is an exciting opportunity for children to perform on a real stage with a live audience and this year it is being held at The Grand Theatre, and we have chosen to perform songs from the soundtrack “Trolls”.

 

The performance starts at 6.30pm therefore all children need to meet outside Nando’s at 6.30pm to ensure we have enough time to be seated before the show begins.  The show is expected to finish between 9.15pm – 9.30pm, children will need to be collected from Nando’s at 9.40pm. Children may bring a healthy snack and a drink (not fizzy).

 

The children will also be attending a dress rehearsal at the Grand on Monday 11th after school at 3.15pm, we will take children to the theatre and back to school ready for collection at 4pm.  Please make us aware if children are walking home after the rehearsal.

 

Family and friends are welcome to watch and tickets should be purchased from the Grand Theatre directly.

 

Costumes

 

The children will need the following:

Black Trousers/leggings

Black Pumps

School will provide a coloured T Shirt, we are asking for a £1.00 donation towards the cost of the T shirt which children are able to keep after the performance.

 

Please return the slip no later than Friday 1st February, as exact participation numbers need to be submitted.
