Class 6 Trip to Eureka – Childrens Museum, Halifax.

 

Dear Parent/Carer,

 

          As part of this terms topic covering The Human Body, Year 6 will be visiting Eureka Children’s Museum in Halifax, on Wednesday 30th January. The children will be able to look around the extensive galleries including “All about Me”, a look into how our body works.

 

          School uniform must be worn, and the minibuses will be leaving early at 8.30am due to the longer journey.  We, will return to school at approx 4.00pm. 

 

          Packed lunches will be provided by the school kitchen for the children entitled to free school meal only, all other pupils should bring their own packed lunch. Please give children any travel sickness medication before leaving, and send a return dosage in a named envelope for the return journey.

 

          We are asking parents for a donation of £6.00 to cover the cost of the £7.25 entry/workshop cost to the museum.

 

          Please could you return the permission slip and payment to school by Monday 28th January.
